Why These Products

The healthy upgrade to the American condiment aisle

In a country where sandwiches and everyday meals default to mayo, ketchup, peanut butter, and processed spreads, Maison Salles offers what America's wellness-conscious market is actively seeking: real flavor, real ingredients — from a terroir that has defined Mediterranean taste for centuries.

SFA Trend 2025

The new American food trend: named regionality. US specialty food buyers no longer want generic "Mediterranean." They want tapenade from Provence, olives from Languedoc, spreads from Southern France. Maison Salles is precisely that product — a century-old house rooted in a specific, prestigious terroir between Montpellier and the sea.

Why Maison Salles

Four generations. One unbroken standard.

Founded in 1920 in Aniane — in the heart of Southern France, between Montpellier and the Mediterranean — Maison Salles has passed through four generations of the same family. Each generation deepened the relationships with producers, refined the recipes, and expanded what the house offers, while remaining faithful to its roots.

Today, Luc Ghia leads a business that is simultaneously a century-old artisan house and a modern food producer, FDA registered and export-ready, supplying private label products to leading European retailers while developing its own premium brand for the international market.

The range that leaves Aniane — olives, gherkins conditioned in our own facility, and an expanding collection of spreads and dips — brings together the purity of Southern France's terroir with the originality of modern gastronomy.
